DW Evans GT achieved another Pro-Am win at Fuji Speedway as Dan Wells and Oscar Lee extended their lead in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia championship.

Dan Wells had a strong showing in the first qualifying session to start on the front row for the first race. Despite a safety car late into their first stint and damage from contact, the team secured a Pro-Am podium finish.

Oscar Lee had an impressive start from ninth on the grid in race two, overtaking five cars on the first lap alone. With DW Evans GT making the fastest pitstop out of any team throughout the weekend, Dan delivered an excellent performance during his second stint to take the Pro-Am win and finish second overall.

DW Evans GT would like to thank Lamborghini Osaka for their ongoing support and are very pleased to come away with some great results at their home race.

Dan Wells: “Our results this weekend were a testament to the team’s hard work. Whilst the first race was challenging, I’m pleased to come away with the Pro-Am win and second place overall in race two.”

Oscar Lee: “It was a great team effort this round. We had a strong car over the weekend, and we came back well to take the win in race two. I’m looking forward to the next round in South Korea.”

Josh Evans: “I’m happy with the team’s performance at Fuji Speedway. We’re focused on continuing this run of form as we consolidate our lead in the championship.”
