Fuji Speedway, Japan – DW Evans GT made a strong start in the third round of the 2023
Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Championship in Japan. The team’s drivers, Dan Wells and
Oscar Lee, delivered commendable performances during the two Free Practice Sessions,
establishing their presence in the Pro-Am category.

Wells topped the overall standings in Free Practice 2, with Lee delivering a solid
performance by securing fourth place before his pit stop. Both drivers improved on their
performances from Free Practice 1, which saw them top the Pro-Am category and secure
second place overall – just 0.15 seconds behind New Zealand racer, Chris van der Drift.

Dan Wells: “Today’s performance reflects our strong preparation and hard work. The car
handled well, and we worked strongly together as a team. We’re focused on maintaining
this momentum and delivering some strong performances in qualifying and the races.”

Oscar Lee: “We’re pleased with today’s running. The car performed as expected, and we
made the most of our opportunities on track. We’ll continue to work on improving
throughout the rest of the weekend.”

Josh Evans: “We had a solid first day running officially as DW Evans GT. It was really
encouraging to see Oscar performing so well at a new track for him. We have identified a
couple of areas with the car that we can improve – we’re looking forward to implementing
them overnight and continue our strong form.”
